Every year, the Final Concert at Piazza Duomo is a must for VIP, special guests and classical music lovers. Yesterday night over 2600 spectators listening George Gershwin in Hollywood made Piazza Duomo and its marvellous cathedral turn into the 5th avenue or an Off-Broadway theatre. Directed by Wayne Marshall, the Giuseppe Verdi Symphony Orchestra of Milan played: Rhapsody in Blue for piano and orchestra, I Got Rhythm Variations for piano and orchestra, Overture to Girl Crazy and An American In Paris.
