Last night Bamboo Blues had its Italian Premiere at the Teatro Nuovo. The great German choreographer, Pina Bausch, died few days ago and enjoying her ballet is a honour. True Art, like Pina Bausch’s, makes the World a better place to live in. She evokes freedom through her dancers’ faces, voices and movements so that the viewer feels like being on the stage: Indian scents, exotic fumes, the holy water of River Gange, sensual flowers and bodies. Refined, playful, poetic: Bamboo Blues.
